Here, you'll have options to enjoy everything from Blue Lagoon soaks and whale watching safaris to 4WD adventures between giant waterfalls and lava fields. Finally, having broken the journey home stops in Belfast and the famed Giant's Causeway and pretty St Peter Port, you'll sail back to Southampton.

Day by day itinerary

Day 1
Board at Southampton

Make your way to Southampton to board Celebrity Silhouette and check in to your ultra-spacious suite – simply ask us if you'd like to opt for a private veranda – before your first dinner tonight. Perhaps begin your trip with a visit to Grand Cuvée, the elegant main restaurant, for a wine-paired, three-course meal led by your sommelier.

Days 2-3
At sea

Take advantage of being at sea over the next two days to really make the most of all that Celebrity Silhouette has to offer. Perhaps pick up a souvenir at the stylish boutiques, burn off any excess at the fitness centre or set up a game at the newly-redesigned Lawn Club for croquet and golf putting with new-found friends. It's the perfect prelude to a cocktail at the laidback Lawn Grill before finishing off the evening with inventive cuisine at Blu – paired with sustainable wine – or globally-inspired menus at Luminae. Then, digestifs are best enjoyed at the stylish Ensemble Lounge before perhaps an exciting evening at the theatre or casino.

Day 4
Seydisfjordur, Iceland

Seydisfjordur is an eclectic little town, tucked away at the end of a deep fjord in the east of Iceland. Surrounded by volcanoes, waterfalls, and in summer, green fields dotted with purple lupins, this former hub for herring fishing is a favourite stop on cruises to Iceland. Walk alongside colourful wooden homes and the famous rainbow-painted street leading to the pretty blue church as you enjoy the fresh, crisp air. Immerse yourself in Icelandic art culture, and celebrate Seydisfjordur’s rich history as a creative community. Venture through incredible natural surroundings as you trek to the cascading Gufufoss waterfalls, and wander along the shore looking out for seals and porpoises before continuing on your Iceland cruise.

Day 5
Akureyri, Iceland

Sail to Iceland today and look forward to a trip highlight as you anchor in to Akureyri, home to a thriving café scene, gourmet restaurants and buzzing nightlife. What’s more, Iceland's eternal Midnight Sun, appearing from May-August, affords you even more time to explore. Close to the city, it's well worth visiting Grimsey Island, home to only 92 residents and thousands of sea birds, and learning about local culture at the fascinating Herring Era Museum. Most spectacular, however, are the dramatic landscapes and breathtaking scenes you’ll find just outside the city, from thundering waterfalls to snow-capped mountains and sweeping fjords. Explore the likes of ancient lava formations, the famous Godafoss waterfall, hot springs and geothermal landscapes with a private driver or on an off-road 4WD adventure. Iceland is known as one of the world's whale watching capitals, and if you can make time, we'd highly recommend booking onto a whale watching safari.

Days 6-7
Reykjavik, Iceland

Sail to the exciting capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, today, for two full days of exploration. It's well worth spending a day discovering the city with its fabulous culinary scene – including lobster feasts during summer – and artsy boutiques. Then, spend your second day exploring the nearby natural world with everything from 4WD adventures to horseback rides, pausing at such Golden Circle icons as Thingvellir National Park and the Gullfoss waterfall. Finish off the day with a soak in the famous blue waters of the Blue Lagoon before returning to the ship.

At sea

You've got another day at sea today to relax after your adventures in Iceland. It's the perfect time to head to the spa for an indulgent treatment or to the adults-only pool and hot tub. Tonight, why not sample excellent caviar and martinis at the The Martini Bar, the perfect prelude to another gourmet dinner.

Day 9
Belfast, Northern Ireland

Anchor in to your penultimate stop today – Belfast. A fascinating city home to cultural quarters including the Cathedral and Titanic Quarter, it's all best explored with walking tours, where you'll learn about the infamous Titanic, traditional Irish music and visit a traditional Irish pub. It's also close to an abundance of beautiful countryside, from the 'Eighth Wonder of the World', the Giant's Causeway, to the Ards Peninsula and Glenariff Forest Park.
