Arriving into Ho Chi Minh City, a private transfer will bring you to your luxury accommodation. There’s also an included lunch at one of the city’s finest Vietnamese restaurants before you take in the Chinese district’s temples and bustling markets.

Today, your private driver will bring you into the bright verdure of the Mekong Delta. Termed the ‘Rice Bowl of Vietnam’, you’ll pass lush paddies and tropical fruit farms all fed by one of Asia’s mightiest rivers. It’s scenery that you’ll also take in on a traditional sampan boat ride into the delta’s heartlands. Disembarking at a riverside village, you’ll enjoy a gentle bike ride, weaving along narrow rural lanes past local cottage workshops to pause for a tasting tour of a fruit orchard. Continuing along the river’s winding tributaries, you’ll then enjoy a traditional lunch of regional specialities before continuing to your chosen hotel.

This morning you’ll wake early for a cruise on the Mekong Princess, tucking into an extravagant breakfast as you cruise past silted houses. Watch as the laundry chores and football games of river life play out on the banks before the network of intertwining canals brings you to the Cai Rang floating market. Private transfers will then bookend your flight to Phu Quoc Island, seeing you to your island-resort getaway.
