This morning there's no need to head to the airport. Instead, you'll depart from London's St Pancras Station on Eurostar to Paris Gare de Nord. You'll then connect from Paris to Verona on SNCF, in a Premium sleeper cabin with an attached en suite.

Verona
You'll arrive into Verona Porta Nuova station early this morning, where your private transfer will take you to your Verona accommodation – a magnificent palace not far from Juliet's balcony, dating back to 1300. Your city centre location leaves you perfectly located for exploring its sights, and you'll take an included tasting tour to immerse yourself in its rich culinary delights. Your guide will see you to some of the foodie hotspots to sample fresh Italian coffee and delicatessen delights, as well as fresh pasta in an authentic trattoria. You’ll also visit a tiny tortellini workshop. Return to your hotel this evening to relax among the period details and sumptuous furnishings of your room.

Today you'll take a fascinating walking tour of Verona, wandering through its winding streets to pause in picturesque piazzas with a local guide. You'll visit the Verona Arena, an immaculately-preserved Roman amphitheatre dating back to the first century and still used as an opera venue today. You'll see more Roman ruins, medieval churches and bridges, as well as Juliet's romantic balcony, as you get to know Verona's charms. Tonight, perhaps enjoy a candlelit dinner at Due Torri Lounge & Restaurant in your hotel.

Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the hotel before a private transfer whisks you away to board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. After a welcome glass of sparkling wine, your personal steward will show you to your private cabin, all dark wood and glamorous furnishings. As the Dolomites whip past your window, you'll be served a multi-course gourmet meal in the elegant restaurant car, followed later by afternoon tea and then a magnificent four-course dinner. This morning, you'll awake to views of the French countryside from your window, as breakfast is served in your cabin by your personal steward. As you head towards London, you'll be served a traditional afternoon tea with sparkling wine, a fitting end to a spectacular journey.
