Day by day itinerary

Day 1
UK/Dublin

You will be treated to complimentary airport lounge access before boarding your flight to Dublin. On arrival, you’ll be met by a private driver and brought to the opulent Westbury hotel, all wool carpets and marble accents. Then, before sampling the 1930s elegance of its cocktail terrace, be sure to head out and explore Dublin’s myriad delights, with pretty St. Stephen’s Green and the great turrets of its famous castle just a short stroll away.

Day 2
Dublin to Belfast

After breakfast today, you'll be able to check in to the Grand Hibernian from the comfort of your hotel before a private transfer to Heuston Station. Here, you'll settle into your opulent cabin before sampling the all-inclusive gourmet menus. From artisan cheeses to fresher-than-fresh fish, Irish breakfasts, two-course lunches and four-course dinners showcase the best in regional dining. It’s all washed down with open-bar indulgences. Then, sweeping through the Irish countryside, you’ll hop over the border to Belfast. Here, you’ll be treated to an evocative tour of the city’s famous murals and spectacular Victorian architecture in a true Belfast icon – a black taxi. You’ll also visit the Titanic Experience. This award-winning exhibition brings the whole ill-fated legend to life between full-scale reconstructions, dark rides and a full spread of special effects.

Day 3
Waterford

This morning, you’ll wake up to a tempting breakfast as rural Ireland sweeps by, seeing you into Waterford. Here, you’ll disembark for a visit to Curraghmore House, an18th-century country estate surrounded by 2,500 acres of formal gardens. It’s the grand residence of the 9th marquis of Waterford and the idyllic setting for your afternoon tea. You’ll then continue to the House of Waterford Crystal for an expert-led tour, showcasing the work of the master craftsmen who create this world-famous glassware. Returning to the train, you’ll be treated to a final fine-dining supper before settling in to enjoy the entertainment hosted in the observation car. As with the previous night, there’s everything from craft sessions to animated storytellers, best enjoyed with a glass of fine Irish whiskey or local stout from the open bar.

Day 4
Dublin/UK

Arriving back into Dublin with a last indulgent breakfast, you’ll have a full day to explore before your evening departure. There’s everything from medieval castles and cathedrals to world-class museums and galleries. Don’t also forget to imbibe some of the local culture with a stout at a cosy pub. Then, at day’s end, you’ll be met by a private driver and brought to the airport for your journey home.
