Introduction
Philadelphia is Pennsylvania's largest city and the 'City of Brotherly Love' is also the birthplace of the American nation. It was in 1776 that representatives from the 13 British colonies signed the Declaration of Independence ushering in a time when the city served as an early capital of the fledgling United States.
Philadelphia's neighbourhoods and restaurants reflect the ethnic diversity of its early settlers and today the city has world-class art collections, special interest museums, fine restaurants and hotels and the largest landscaped public park in America.
