UK/Reykjavik
Fly from the UK to Keflavik airport, just outside Reykjavik, and check into Hotel Reykjavik Natura, a popular hotel situated just 20-minutes by foot from the city centre. Spend the rest of the day exploring the world’s northernmost capital at your leisure.

Lake Myvatn
After breakfast, transfer to Reykjavik’s domestic airport, located in the city’s downtown area, and fly to Akureyri, from where you’ll be transferred to Lake Myvatn. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the area and dinner at Sel Hotel Myvatn. The next day head out to explore the shores and surrounding wetlands of Lake Myvatn, a large and shallow eutrophic lake which supports an exceptionally rich ecosystem, thanks to the area’s mineral-rich soil and sparkling volcanicity. Each evening offers the chance to observe the floating forms of the Northern Lights.

Akureyri
Visit the town of Akureyri, the trade and cultural centre of northern Iceland and a lively fishing port set by a scenic fjord. In the afternoon you’ll catch a flight back to Reykjavik where you’ll spend a further night at Hotel Reykjavik Natura.

Reykjavik/UK
Head to the Blue Lagoon, famed for its mineral-rich waters, for a relaxing end to your holiday. Return to Keflavik airport in time for your return flight.
