Tsavo East National Park
Arrive into Mombasa where you'll board your luxurious Cessna aircraft for the short flight to Tsavo East National Park, home to an abundance of wildlife that might include everything from oryx and impala to lion, cheetah, leopard and giraffe. On arrival, you'll be met by your local guide and transferred, by all-terrain vehicle, to Satao Camp. Nestled among the trees and surrounding a watering hole, this luxury camp's 20 guest tents contrast modern amenities in en suite bathrooms and flushing toilets with handcrafted wooden furnishings, unique Kenyan artworks and antique writing desks. After lunch, head out into the surrounding savannah on your first game drive in search of the region's herds of red elephants.

Tsavo West National Park
Your next Cessna hop brings you to the neighbouring Tsavo West National Park and the spa indulgences of Severin Safari Camp, your base for the next two nights. Perhaps begin your stay with a dip in the pool or a relaxing massage before heading off, post-lunch, for a guided tour of the Mzima Springs, an oasis of palm trees and acacias where crystalline waters play host to elephants, crocodiles and hippos. The next day, set out on a game drive along the Tsavo River before heading to Poacher's Lookout for stunning sunset views accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine and canapés. It's all rounded off with a memorable night safari, a unique opportunity to experience the East African savannah by night.

Amboseli National Park
The adventure continues this morning with a Masai-guided walk through the bush in search of local bird and animal life. Then, after breakfast, you'll fly to Satao Elerai Safari Camp, set amid a 5,000-acre, private conservation area on the outskirts of Amboseli National Park. With Mount Kilimanjaro as a constant backdrop, you'll enjoy two days of guided game drives and cultural tours, beginning with a visit to a Masai village to gain an insight into the unique heritage and centuries-old traditions tribal life. The next day, your attention turns back to wildlife as you head out into the national park's near-40,000-hectare sprawl to seek out everything from spotted hyenas to Masai lions and blue wildebeest.

Masai Mara
Your final stop is the Karen Blixen Camp in the world-famous Masai Mara National Park. Named after the Danish author who penned Out of Africa, this eco-friendly safari lodge blends swimming pool and spa luxuries with sweeping Mara River views. It's a wonderful spot to relax with a gin and tonic between classic game drives and optional hot air balloon safaris that bring you up close to the region's stunning array of wildlife. Visit between July and October to see the wildebeest and zebra migrations, both true wonders of the natural world.

Nairobi/UK
After a morning free for independent activities, you'll have lunch at the camp before boarding your Cessna for the flight to Nairobi and your connection home, arriving on day 10.
