Your holiday begins in style with included airport lounge access before your flight to Rome. On arrival, you’ll transfer to the port in Civitavecchia where you’ll board Celebrity Beyond to begin your voyage, setting sail at 5pm. Depending on your arrival time, take the chance to delve into the myriad delights of the Italian capital, from the Colosseum and Pantheon to the remarkable Trevi Fountain and a host of other sights dotted throughout the city. In the evening, you’ll begin your journey south, taking the chance to acquaint yourself with the luxuries of Celebrity Beyond, perhaps with a spa treatment or a cocktail at the Sunset Bar.

Sicily
Having sailed overnight, you’ll arrive in Sicily where a choice of tours will introduce you to the islands heady mix of history, nature and world-class viticulture. Perhaps you’ll take a tour of Taormina with its ancient Roman ruins and views across to Mt Etna. Or, discover more of Sicily’s volcanic geology paired with a chance to sample some of its finest wines. Otherwise, you might want to channel your inner Al Pacino with a trip through the landmarks made famous in the Godfather movies, or simply transfer to the coast for a relaxing day on the beach.

Your Greek Island-hopping adventure continues as you drop anchor in Mykonos. Istanbul, Turkey
You’ll have two days to explore Istanbul, the gateway between East and West perched on the glittering shores of the Bosphorus. Explore the best of it with a range of touring options, including city highlights tours with lunch, Bosphorus cruises and visits to the famous Grand Bazaar. Perhaps you’ll choose to explore some of the key sights in detail, with a visit to Dolmabahce Palace followed by afternoon tea, or an expert-led visit to the Blue Mosque paired with a glass-making workshop. Or, delve into the city’s culinary scene across a series of tastings at Istanbul’s best food spots.

Ephesus (Kusadasi)
Dropping anchor in Kusadasi, today is given over entirely to Ephesus and its countryside surrounds. Of course, the Roman ruins take centre stage, and a historian guide will be on hand to showcase its many secrets. Alternatively, get creative at a carpet weaving workshop, explore the region’s famed handicrafts or find out why the local wineries are garnering international attention. Finally, you might choose to head off the beaten track with a visit to a nearby national park and village.

Your next port of call is Piraeus, the seaside gateway to Athens, Greece’s bustling capital. More gourmet delights can be found in Naples itself on street food walking tour or you might choose to venture further afield on a boat trip to glamorous Capri.
